Haley and Bennett are some of the most beautiful people on the inside and outside I’ve ever worked with ! The couple had been together for over a year when Bennett popped the question on Valentine’s Day and totally surprised Haley. They started planning their perfect backyard wedding for August later that year. They had their sealing ceremony in the Provo City Center Temple where they celebrated their marriage with their families.

Family friends of Bennett held the reception in their backyard, overlooking Utah Lake and Utah Valley. They had a few large tables set up with wildflowers, picnic tablecloths and they served several varieties of bread, jams and honey. After they cut their cake, Bennett threw on some orange shades and started up the dance party with his best friends. Bennett is a huge fan of house music and this was the first time I heard only house music at a reception ! You could tell he was in his element grooving to the beat, especially when Haley came out to join him.

The sunset that night was so stunning reflecting off the lake and it was the perfect end to a summer night ! Before they made their exit, the bride changed into a more casual white dress and walked out with her now husband, as their friends and families lit off sparklers and the couple shared a few celebratory kisses before getting in their car.
